1. Prerequisites	:	None
2. Contents	:	In this course the basics of analog telecommunication techniques will be taught. Signal conditioning methods will be presented which helps the engineer to modulate, transmit, and receive analog signals.
3. Objectives	:	Analog telecommunication techniques will be presented.
4. Textbook/ Lecture notes	:	H.P.E. Stern, S.A. Mahmoud: Communication Systems – Analysis and Design. Pearson, 2003.
5. Attendance	:	Compulsory attendance for theory lectures is 70%, for laboratories 80%.
6. Grading	:	Midterm 30%, Laboratory 30%, Final 40%
7. Academic dishonesty	:	Academic dishonesty is related to cheating and plagiarism. Copying in whole or in part others’ assignments, lab works or exams, is considered cheating respectively plagiarism. All parties involved will receive a zero score for the lab, assignment or the exam.
